Lake Blue Hematite Crystal Beads — 6 mm

Loose Lake Blue Hematite beads in 6 mm — sold as 10 beads per order. Natural stone, drilled and finished by hand, ready to string.

Why makers come back to these

• Hand-finished natural stone. Every bead is drilled, tumbled and polished in small batches, so the holes are clean and the edges are smooth enough for elastic or wire.
• 6 mm sizing. Sized to work with standard beading elastic, tigertail and memory wire without reaming.
• 10 beads per order. Enough for a bracelet, a pair of earrings, or to top up a project you have already started.

Specifications

• Bead size: 6 mm
• Shape: round / smooth bean
• Hole size: approx. 1.0 mm

Ways to use them

• Bracelets. String on elastic for a stretch bracelet, or on wire with a clasp if you want it to last longer.
• Necklaces. Use as the focal bead of a pendant cord, or repeat it as a spacer between larger stones.
• Earrings and charms. Small sizes work as drops on headpins and as accents on charm clusters.

About Lake Blue Hematite

Hematite is an iron oxide mineral with a distinctly metallic lustre. It is heavy for its size, which gives finished pieces a reassuring weight. Because this is natural material, expect variation in colour, veining and translucency between beads and between orders. We sort by eye rather than by machine, so a strand reads as a set instead of a row of identical beads.

Care and shipping

Wipe with a soft dry cloth; avoid ultrasonic cleaners, prolonged soaking and household chemicals. Store away from harder stones to keep the polish. Orders are packed and dispatched from our studio, and every parcel is checked before it goes out. If a bead arrives damaged, send us a photo and we will replace it.
